Easter rescue: Raleigh firefighters rescue dog from storm drain

Firefighters rescued a dog on Sunday from a storm drain in Raleigh.

According to the Raleigh Professional Firefighters Association, firefighters received reports of a dog in a storm drain around 1:35 p.m. on Laurel Glen Drive. Firefighters said the dog was “10-15 feet” inside the drain when they arrived.

Firefighters said they pulled the dog out of the hole and successfully reunited it with its family, adding that Animal Control assisted them.

The dog was not injured.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
