KOKOMO — Columbus North went up against two of the state’s top baseball teams at Saturday’s Bullpen Tournament Showcase and came away with a pair of losses.
The Bull Dogs fell to Class 3A No. 2 Andrean 9-2 in the opener. The game was tied 2-2 after four innings, but the 59ers scored once in the fifth and three each in the sixth and seventh. Brock Kintner had the lone hit for North.
North (3-6) lost to 4A No. 2 Lake Central 10-0 in six innings. Ike Genth went 2 for 2.
