NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals-Angell said that 10 animal shelters across the state will be waiving adoption fees for dogs 1-year-old and older.

The fees will be waived from April 21 to April 27 for the event, called Big Dog Energy.

All four MSPCA-Angell Adoption Centers, in BostonMethuenSalem, and Centerville on Cape Cod, will participate in the event, as well as the Lowell Humane Society and MASS coalition partners Berkshire Humane SocietyWorcester Animal Rescue LeagueBoston Animal ControlDakin Humane Society, and Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control & Adoption Center.

Organizers said they hope to rehome at least 100 dogs during the event.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
