Dogs of murder-suicide victim find new home after year-long wait

A year after the murder-suicide that claimed the life of a 24-year-old woman, her two dogs have found a new home.

The Hotel for Homeless Dogs in Cumberland held a send-off ceremony for the two dogs, Darla and Spanky.

They were taken in last year after they owner, 24-year-old Loren Marino was killed in a murder-suicide.

The DA’s office believes her boyfriend of two months killed Marino before turning the gun on himself.

Both dogs were inside the home when police discovered the gruesome scene.

After a year of challenges finding the pair a new home, one couple was the perfect match.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
