SPCA rescues 22 dogs from Williamsville home

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) The SPCA Serving Erie County is investigating after 22 dogs were rescued from a home in Williamsville Monday.

Cait Daly says the SPCA received a complaint and officers went to a home in Williamsville, “The animals were covered in urine and feces, and they were so matted that they needed to be sedated and shaved,” says Daly. Daly says 14 dogs were rescued Monday, another eight Tuesday. Daly says they are looking a little better after being sedated and shaved, “but we won’t know what health condition they’re in until we spend a little more time with them.”

Daly says the owner’s family is cooperating with the investigation.

There is no information available as to when these animals may be placed up for adoption. At this time no additional foster homes are needed.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
