Woman and child dead after suspected dog attack in southern Indiana

HUNTINGBURG, Ind. — Two people are dead after a suspected dog attack in southern Indiana Monday afternoon.

Officers entered the home and found a woman and a child unresponsive.

Emergency crews pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

Medics transported the child to an Evansville hospital, where the child later died.

Police suspect the cause of death to at least one of the victims was a dog attack, and officers do no suspect any foul play.

Police confirmed all dog(s) that were in the home were removed following the incident.

Huntingburg is approximately 130 miles southwest of downtown Indianapolis.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
