SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – We’re featuring a duo found wandering together.
They showed up outside a Springfield restaurant but unfortunately, they may have wound up there on purpose.
“They were possibly dumped at the Cracker Barrel on north Glenstone. Staff there may have seen somebody unload them from a car and drive away but they’re not certain if they came from the car or if the car was just passing through.”
Shelter coordinator Josh Doss says the two are Heeler mixes, around two years old.
The darker one does have a much shorter tail and their coloring is different but they’re thinking they may be siblings because they’re very bonded. At the very least they appear to have come from the same home.
They’re in good shape, with clean coats and a good weight, so someone was caring for them recently but they don’t have collars, tags or chips.
If you recognize them, call animal control at 417-833-3592 or visit their website.
You can also submit any lost or found pet to the Leigh’s Lost and Found facebook page.
