Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry’s Supports Guide Dogs of the Desert

It’s Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry’s, and the beloved ice cream brand is supporting a great cause. The event, taking place at the Ben & Jerry’s location at The River in Rancho Mirage, benefits Guide Dogs of the Desert, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing guide dogs for those in need.

Tim O’Brien is live at the event, bringing us all the action.

The event, which runs until 8 p.m. tonight, is drawing in a steady crowd eager to enjoy a free cone while supporting a local cause. Tim also joked about his forearm getting sore after scooping multiple bowls, but he remains in good spirits, joking about how “Fuego”—the mascot—was kicked out after a health violation was found when a feather was discovered inside the Cherry Garcia ice cream.

With more than 30 flavors to choose from, there’s something for everyone, and it’s all for a great cause. If you’re in the area and haven’t made it yet, Tim encourages viewers to swing by for a free cone before the event ends.

“Come on out and grab a cone!” Tim urged. “It’s all for Guide Dogs of the Desert, and I’ll be here scooping until the end of the night!”

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
