Amanda Hoffman, President of People Helping Paws Dog Rescue joined KRCG 13 Live at Sunrise for a live interview on April 8 to raise awareness for a cause near and dear to her heart.
Hoffman’s said her organization, People Helping Paws Dog Rescue is a small, volunteer-run who have been active in the Missouri community for 15 years.
According to PHPDR’s website, the organization worked to help dogs who are overlooked or as Hoffman otherwise called them, “bully breeds” in Jefferson City, Columbia, St. Louis and other “surrounding areas.”
PHPDR also says they looked after elderly dogs, strays, and pets who need foster homes.
According to Hoffman, PHPDR’s mission is “to reduce the number of dogs needlessly euthanized in Missouri by fostering hard-to-place breeds and/or medically needy dogs to prepare them for adoption into loving homes and providing community support to help pets stay in loving homes.”
This mission inspired Hoffman and PHPDR to run a Concert Ticket Raffle.
PHPDR’s website says the organization is raffling two field level tickets valued at $600 to see Post Malone and Jelly Roll live in concert in St. Louis in May.
Missourians must be aged 18 or older to enter and each entry is a $10 donation with no limit.
Hoffman revealed these donation funds will help PHPDR continue to save more lives of overlooked dogs and give them a second chance.
One second chance has been Malone, a stray pup who Hoffman said is the mascot for the raffle.
