Thieves have made off with thousands of dollars worth of designer goods after a luxury boutique was targeted in an early morning ram raid.
The Fendi boutique on Collins Street in Melbourne‘s CBD was targeted by thieves shortly before 6am on Tuesday.
The group used a vehicle to smash through the front windows of the boutique.
The thieves grabbed a stash of designer handbags, which can be worth up to $9,000 each, clothing and other accessories.
Police officers have yet to establish how many items were stolen.
After getting their hands on the designer items, the thieves then made their getaway in separate vehicles which were last spotted travelling south along St Kilda Road
The Fendi store is the fourth luxury boutique to be targeted by thieves and the fifth burglary to have taken taken place in a matter of weeks in Melbourne.
A Dior store in the CBD was first ram-raided on March 6 before being targeted again two weeks later.


A vehicle crashed through the glass storefront while reversing allowing the offenders to nab a number of high-end items.
A Louis Vuitton store in Southbank was hit shortly after with thieves making off with thousands of dollars worth of items in broad daylight.
A white Nissan Navara drove into the front of the store in the Crown Casino precinct on a Sunday morning in March.
The Louis Vuitton had been previously ram-raided in 2020.
On Sunday, thieves ram-raided the real roller door of a David Jones on Bourke Street.
Thousands of dollars worth of luxury handbags were taken before the criminals fled in a white Lexus.
Police officers are investigating whether the latest raid at Fendi is linked to the other burglaries.
