LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The sizzle of hot dogs and the spirit of summer filled the air on Friday as Pink’s World Famous Hot Dogs returned to Las Vegas.
The lively launch celebration occurred at Cowabunga Bay Water Park in Henderson, marking Pink’s official entry into the Cowabunga Vegas experience.
Known for its chili-loaded creations and Hollywood flair, Pink’s is now bringing flavor, fun, and nostalgia to guests at both Cowabunga Bay and Cowabunga Canyon.
The event kicked off with a splash of Vegas-style flair, featuring appearances from some of the city’s famous dogs, including the mascot of the Las Vegas Desert Dogs lacrosse team.
Guests were treated to a sneak peek and taste of Pink’s mouthwatering menu, including the Ultimate Pink’s Dog, Chili DogFather, Rodeo Drive Dog, and the loaded Philly Blockbuster Dog.
The collaboration between Richard Pink, owner of Pink’s Hot Dogs, and Shane Huish, owner of Cowabunga Bay, marked a playful and delicious union. “Richard and I both have a flair for food and fun,” said Huish. “As soon as we met, we knew this was a perfect match. It’s exciting to bring a legendary brand like Pink’s to our parks.”
Founded in 1939, Pink’s started as a humble pushcart in Los Angeles and has grown into a global sensation, famously serving celebrities and foodies alike.
Now, Las Vegas water park guests can indulge in the iconic hot dogs all summer long.
Pink’s will officially open at Cowabunga Bay on April 19 and Cowabunga Canyon on May 3, just in time for the parks’ grand opening weekends.
