Recently, former NXT Champion Ethan Page has called out CM Punk, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, and Drew McIntyre on TikTok for using their pets to get attention, something he wants as well.
“I wanted to follow in the footsteps of the people above me and the spots I am trying to fill,” Page said. “And since the superstars of WWE have been using their pets for clout and fame and attention, I wanted to follow suit.”
“The fact that CM Punk and his dog Larry have become a jump scare on my social media timeline for how ugly the dog is. Or that Cody [Rhodes]’ dog, Pharaoh, is clearly an industry plant. Talentless. And we’ve got Drew McIntyre showing off his cats, which I am allergic to and not a fan of cats.”
“So I wanted to introduce to everyone in the entire world to Nala,” Page said while bringing an adorable puppy. “This is Nala. That’s it. I just wanted to show off my beautiful pet.”
While it’s a bold choice to go after so many beloved pets, it was worth it to finally meet Nala. Hopefully, this won’t be the last we see of this cute canine.
