Freshman’s homer, Fry’s pitching gem lift Bull Dogs past Royals

Jack Whaley

FISHERS — Freshman Jack Whaley smacked a three-run first-inning home run in his first high school plate appearance, and Columbus North held on for a 3-2 win at Hamilton Southeastern in its baseball season opener.

Joey Fry

Joey Fry pitched 4.2 scoreless, hitless innings before giving way to Dillon Long. Jayden Adorno came on to pitch a scoreless seventh to earn the save.

Whaley had three of the four hits for the Bull Dogs, going 3 for 4.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
