Long-time friend of CHANEL, Dua Lipa steps forward as the face of the fashion house’s new CHANEL 25 handbag, photographed by renowned fashion photographer David Sims. Capturing the bag’s versatile charm, Lipa effortlessly embodies the contemporary energy CHANEL aims to channel through this latest design.
“For me, this campaign is about the freedom, self-expression, and embracing that on-the-go energy,” said Dua Lipa about the collaboration. Her participation marks yet another dynamic connection with CHANEL, as she gracefully navigates the vibrant New York City streets in a campaign film directed by Gordon von Steiner, highlighting the handbag’s appeal as both an elegant accessory andf an everyday essential.
Joining Dua Lipa as a co-ambassador for the CHANEL 25 campaign is BLACKPINK‘s Jennie, a House ambassador since 2017 and a prominent figure in global pop culture. Known for her expressive personal style, Jennie represents the modern versatility that CHANEL seeks to emphasize through the handbag’s design. “The CHANEL 25 handbag symbolises movement,” Jennie explained. “It adapts to my various situations and lifestyles, offering flexibility and comfort while allowing me to express my unique style.”

First unveiled at CHANEL’s Spring/Summer 2025 Ready-to-Wear show, the bag introduces a laid-back silhouette enhanced by quintessential CHANEL features like quilted leather, the braided metal-leather chain, and a drawstring closure finished with the iconic double C logo. Its practical design includes accessible exterior pockets, perfectly accommodating modern necessities such as smartphones.

The CHANEL 25 handbag continues the tradition of numerically named bags, following the CHANEL 19 and CHANEL 22, each named after their respective release years. As Dua Lipa and Jennie embody the effortless elegance at the heart of the brand, CHANEL’s newest release emphasizes adaptability, practicality, and contemporary charm.
