Have You Seen This? Adorable dog enjoys ski outing with its owner

ON THE MOUNTAIN — It’s no secret Utah’s vast mountains and the “Greatest Snow on Earth” play host to tons of skiers and snowboarders each winter. But what about their furry companions?

Turns out, pets can have a lot of enjoyment on the slopes, too. That’s evident in this video of a skier tackling an Oregon ski trail with his Shiba Inu.

As the skier starts his descent, his dog sprints ahead with a look of pure joy on its face. “You are so fast,” the skier exclaims.

With their thick fur and double coat, Shiba Inus are practically built for enjoying the snow and cold conditions. This adventurous dog is no exception (although it is wearing a cute little jacket). Whether the jacket is for extra style points or to stay even warmer in cold conditions is anyone’s guess.

I’ve spent a lot of days skiing Utah’s mountains, but I still haven’t seen any dogs — besides avalanche rescue dogs — on the mountain. I certainly would love to see a pup out enjoying the snow and gorgeous views.

How would your dog handle a day on the slopes?

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
