Queen Camilla’s Fendi handbag costs £3,900 – recreate her look from just £29

Queen Camilla wore a stunning pale pink outfit at Monday’s Commonwealth Day Service, but it was her chic designer top-handle bag that caught our attention.

The 77-year-old royal joined her husband, King Charles and other senior royals for the poignant service, which was held in Westminster Abbey to celebrate the family of 56 nations. Camilla looked radiant in a pink wool crepe and satin coat dress by Fiona Clare and a colour-matching beret hat by Philip Treacy. She completed the look with a pair of nude heels and a greige leather bag by Fendi.

Camilla’s style is known for being simple and understated, and she often opts for neutral accessories. The Queen held onto the Peekaboo Mini in a stunning dove grey colour, which is worth a whopping £3,900. The leather design features a sleek python top-handle strap and a silver lock closure on both sides.

If you want to recreate an aesthetic similar to Camilla’s Fendi design without the price tag, then the Kitise bag from Debenhams is an ideal pick. The bag features the same classic top-handle style as the Queen’s, but instead of the lock closure, it has a flap saddle. There is also a cross-body strap, which is removable.

The bag we’ve chosen is a different colour to Camilla’s – stone grey – but there are plenty of other colours to choose from, including powder blue, pistachio green, baby pink and black.

This Carla Ferreri handbag is an excellent alternative option as you can save over £200 via Brand Alley. This style is very similar to Queen Camilla’s – not only due to the top-handle and boxy structure but also because it has a sleek metal buckle clasp. Note for Brand Alley, you need to sign up to use it but it’s free, quick and you can opt out of marketing emails.

Alternatively, if you would prefer a cream look then try the Whimsy design by Jones Bootmaker. This is made from leather and features a flap buckle fastening with a gold detail.

You can also buy this in tan, black, fuschia pink, pale blue and burgundy. The latter of which is a shade that both Princess Kate and Zara Tindall have worn over the winter.

If you like small handbags, this one is another great option. It has the same top handle as Queen Camillia’s. It also comes with a cross-body strap that can be added it required. The bag has a twist-lock fastener and gold details.

This handbag comes in 12 colours, including a rich red and a stunning teal option.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
