Animal Rescue League of Iowa rescues nearly 50 dogs from Washington County breeder

In a Facebook post, officials said they were called to assist with a situation involving dozens of dogs at a commercial breeder located in Washington County. The ARL located 49 dogs who were living in conditions poor enough that a state-certified veterinarian determined they needed to be removed for their own safety.

17 dead dogs, with most reportedly being puppies, were found around the property, as well.

ARL officials are asking for donations to help with future rescue operations. Donations can be made on the ARL’s website or through @ARL-Iowa on Venmo.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
