Multiple dogs were removed from a Washington County property after a search warrant was executed. According to the Washington County Communications Center, at 9 a.m. on Friday, a search warrant was executed at property at 1355 Tulip Avenue, approximately one mile south of Riverside. The warrant was executed by law enforcement personnel with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The property is owned by Terry Yoder, and was identified as the dog breeding business for BR’s Dobermans operated by Yoder. Multiple dogs were humanely removed from the property. Law enforcement was assisted by PAWS & More Animal Shelter of Washington, the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, Iowa City Animal Shelter, and the State of Iowa Certified Veterinarian.

According to authorities, when the search warrant was executed 49 live Doberman Pinchers were seized, and 17 were identified as deceased.

The incident is part of an on-going investigation and as of Monday afternoon no charges had been filed. KCII will provide more information as it becomes official.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
