MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – An arrest was made for aggravated animal cruelty has been issued for a man accused of throwing a dog from a bridge.
A warrant was issued for Christopher Triplett, 18, on Sunday. Triplett was arrested Monday.

The incident happened in the area of South Lauderdale Street near Danny Thomas Boulevard on Monday, March 3.
A deceased dog was found in a parking lot of a nearby business.
The manager watched surveillance footage that showed a man dragging a dog toward the pedestrian bridge and tossing the dog from the bridge.
The man then walked down the steps, taking the dog back up and tossing it from the bridge again, killing the dog.
The man was last seen leaving the area on foot, down Lauderdale toward E.H. Crump Boulevard.
