FALL RIVER, Mass. (WJAR) — Sundary marked the last day Roger’s Coney Island Hot Dogs in Fall River opened their doors.
The restaurant has been serving the community for over 20 years, but the most recent owners say having to shut down several times during the COVID-19 pandemic has caused the business to struggle.
Several customers gathered at the popular eatery on North Main Street to have one last hot dog.
There have been some efforts by local business owners to buy the eatery and potentially reopen it.
The owners say they’re thankful for the employees and customers who have supported the restaurant over the years.
