A young boy is in critical condition after a dog attack in North Linden Sunday afternoon.
The child, under the age of 10, has been transported to the hospital and is under “extreme critical condition” after police responded to a report of an attack involving two dogs shortly after 1 p.m.
One dog is deceased after an officer shot both dogs, the other has been taken by animal control.
According to Columbus Police, animal control is currently investigating the incident.
“The dogs appeared to be loose from a residence down the street and were not the family’s dogs,” Police Sgt. Joe Albert said via email.
