Meet NorthJersey.com’s adoptable pets of the week for Feb. 28!
Each week, NorthJersey.com would like to highlight adoptable animals from local shelters and rescues.
If you foster, work at, or volunteer with a North Jersey animal shelter or rescue and know of some animals who are in need of a loving fur-ever home please send a photo, description and adoption information to amwallace@gannett.com to have your adoptable pets featured in the next edition.
This week we are featuring Cupid and Rizzo from Real Dog Rescue in Mahwah.
Cupid
At just 4 months old, Cupid is a ball of love who adores his human and canine foster siblings. This pit bull terrier and labrador retriever mix can be described as affectionate, athletic, funny, friendly and playful.
Cupid is working on his housebreaking and basic obedience skills, but he has never met a friend that he didn’t fall for.
Rizzo
Rizzo is a 2-year-old labrador retriever and Jack Russel terrier mix that can be described as affectionate, athletic, funny, friendly and playful. This sweet, fun-loving girl loves long walks, tasty treats and spending time with her canine foster brother.
