The passion for speed can be expressed in many ways—even, as it happens, in the shape of a blazer or pencil skirt in an evocative hue like Racing Red or Modena Canary Yellow. Yes, the Ferrari mythos—cars designed to win the race against time, on a racing track or city road, since 1947—can now also be experienced on the runway, thanks to the fashion project bearing the brand’s revered name. And if the automobiles made in Ferrari’s legendary home base of Maranello, Italy, are always instantly recognized by their lively lines and their famous “Prancing Horse” emblem, the same now goes for its clothing lines, all codified by creative director Rocco Iannone.

For his seventh Ferrari collection, Iannone chose the theme of “wardrobe,” to explore the physical but also conceptual act of dressing up: the border between public and private, being and appearing. Clothing can be considered a form of self-portrait, and the Ferrari Cabinet—the brand’s 2025 Spring/Summer collection—was designed to be both functional and responsive to the instinctive choices and individual changes we go through every day, enabling a dialogue between the body and the identity of the wearer.

“The Ferrari Cabinet” is also the title of Willy Vanderperre’s campaign for the collection, another creative step in defining its overall message and aesthetic meaning. In it, the models are portrayed through the Belgian photographer’s authentic, essential stylistic lens in a wardrobe whose space becomes a driver’s seat of expression and metamorphosis, a threshold between public and private. Completing the narrative are their accessories, which draw from the brand’s cultural footprint and the deepest pages of its history via some savvy cross-referencing.

Introducing Nello, The Ferrari Tool Case

The toolbox used by Maranello’s factory workers lends its geometry to this leather vanity case, which sports an inner lining made of Alcantara fabric and metal studs like those employed in the luxury cars. The debut of Nello, The Ferrari Tool Case boasts seven different hues and materials: a nod to numerology—many a car and fashion brand’s obsession—but also a tribute to the spirit and inventiveness that are staples of the Italian racing team’s creations. Naturally extending Ferrari’s automotive partnerships to the fashion world, these materials also include Radica leather inspired by 1970s steering wheels, buffered and burnished by hand to achieve the most luxurious shine, as well as workwear denim enriched with brushed effects.

But the ultimate must-have detail has to be its flowing fringes, waving like the mane of the Prancing Horse itself, which are made from regenerated leather to make the most of production waste. (The same detail resurfaces on the heels of minimalist-chic sandals in the line.)

La Ferrari Dino Bag

First launched as part of the 2024 Autumn/Winter collection, La Ferrari Dino Bag is reborn for the new season in a range of sizes, from minis for grand events to hobos, bowling bags, and travel duffels. The name, of course, pays homage to the iconic La Dino 246, a racing car designed as a tribute to Enzo Ferrari’s son Alfredo, aka Dino. This bag’s geometry is reminiscent of the sensual lines of the vehicle, which was first unveiled in Turin in 1969, and more broadly of the silhouettes of early-’70s accessories. Made from refined leather, it sports hand-painted edges and a metal Prancing Horse emblem with an exclusive ruthenium Chassis finish, as well as an embossed Ferrari logo on the side.

In all, the Ferrari Cabinet brings to life the cornerstones and codes of the Ferrari lexicon, through Iannone’s close study of the precise volumes, sinuous lines, uses of color, and auras of power and sensuality found at Maranello. The collection’s silhouettes trace and envelop the contours of the body, enhancing without constricting to convey both lightness and fluidity. The color palette pairs Ferrari red with new hues like tobacco, leather, terra-cotta, and ivory, culminating in the brand’s classic yellow for the richest fabrics. The Prancing Horse emblem appears in 3D embroideries and macramé patches on T-shirts, dresses, and the “One of a Kind” skirt. Iannone likewise experiments with the brand identity in the line’s accessories, enabling his handbags, flat driving shoes, tinted glasses, and driving gloves alike to complete a look that fully encompasses the boldness and passion of the Ferrari world.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
