10 dogs recovered from alleged Smith County dogfighting ring euthanized

SMITH COUNTY, Texas — Ten dogs rescued from an alleged dogfighting ring in Smith County have had to be euthanized, according to a statement from Smith County Animal Control.

“After several efforts to get adopters and rescues were unsuccessful, it was the last option we had,” read a statement from Smith County Animal Control and Shelter Supervisor Amber Greene.

The statement said the dogs were euthanized due to the shelter’s lack of space. One other dog was rescued from the shelter.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
