Palestine man accused of having dogs in ‘inadequate’ houses arrested

PALESTINE, Texas — An East Texas man was arrested after six dogs were found in small, inadequate dog houses and exposed to harsh weather conditions.

Eugene Carr III, of Palestine, was charged with animal cruelty on Saturday.

Animal Control Officers found six animals in small, inadequate dog houses that lacked the necessary space for movement,  the Palestine Police Department said in a Facebook post said.

“The shelters showed significant structural deficiencies, including holes, leaving the dogs exposed to harsh weather conditions,” the post read.

Carr was booked into the Anderson County Jail. The six dogs were transported to a local shelter for further care.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
