There’s nothing quite like the excitement of finding out if you’re pregnant with a boy or a girl.
But one soon-to-be mum has taken her gender reveal to a very luxurious level, enlisting the help of Dior to pull it off.
Rachel and her husband didn’t go for the standard confetti cannon, or shoving a wine glass into a cake filled with blue or pink on the inside.
Instead, a shopping trip in Paris led to a designer bag worth close to $10,000 to share the news.

Sharing a video of the experience on TikTok, Rachel explained the couple were in Paris when they got the results, so headed shopping.
For a boy, the option was a blue Lady Dior bag, and for a girl, a pink Lady Dior bag.
The bag, in size small, retails for $9,300 and Rachel went with the addition of a matching scarf for the handle of either option, retailing at $410, bringing the total to just under $10,000.
Rachel didn’t look at the results and instead just handed over her credit card.

In a follow up video, she explained the sales assistant in Dior let them use a private room to do the big unboxing so they didn’t have to wait to get back to their room.
As she and her husband sat together on a plush couch, she undid the big bow on the box and lifted the tissue paper to reveal a blue bag – it’s a boy!
“Baby was craving a Dior bag… Thank you to Sofia @Dior Paris Champs-Elysées 🤍 the hardest part was not opening the results ourselves but this was so worth it,” she captioned the video.
Rachel’s video has been watched close to 12 million times and people cannot get enough of it, calling it ‘chic’, although others laughed that they’d never be able to afford a stunt like this.

Another wrote, “This was probably so fun for the sales person.”
Others said Rachel needs to wear the bag for all of her son’s important events.

Obviously, splashing $10k on a bag isn’t for everyone, and a lot of people joked that just watching the video made them feel pool.
“I am sorry I don’t speak rich,” commented one person.
“This called me broke in 10 different ways. That being said, I’m happy for you,” replied another follower.
