MANSFIELD – The 33nd episode of the News Man Weekly podcast has dropped.

In this week’s edition, Richland Source Deputy Managing Editor Carl Hunnell and reporter Grace McCormick chat with Ontario Mayor Kris Knapp, who recently marked his sixth month in office.

Knapp provides an update on the expected arrival of Raising Cane’s restaurant, the city’s comprehensive plan and the development of the former General Motors factory website.

Hunnell is also joined by Executive Producer Zac Hiser and videographer Grant Ritchey to talk about the news of the day, including Mansfield native and St. Peter’s High School graduate Matthew Failor competing in the Kuskokwim 300 Sled Dog Race in Alaska; new security cameras at sites in Madison Township; a new autonomous emergency forces drone in Mansfield; and a “negotiations picket” by members of AFSCME Local 3088, representing 150 workers in the City of Mansfield.

Next week’s guest will be local country music singer Luke Watson.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
