Woman dies from Dog Attack in Tuscaloosa

An investigation is underway after police say a woman was found dead Thursday morning after dogs attacked her.

According to Tuscaloosa police, on February 6, at approximately 9:00 am, the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, Northstar, Echola Fire, and Animal Control responded to the 1300 Block of Boyd Road after 911 received a call of a woman being attacked by a pack of dogs in front of the residence.

When officers arrived they attempted to save her, but she did not survive.

Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit conducted an investigation which revealed the dogs belonged to the property and the lady had come to the property to feed the dogs for their owner who was out of town.

At this time, the investigation continues, and TPD says out of respect for the victim’s family, no further details will be released.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
