8 dogs rescued from fire in Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Maine (WABI) – Eight dogs were rescued from a house fire on Maple Street in Fairfield on Sunday.

According to the Fairfield Fire Department, they received multiple calls about the fire a little after 6 p.m. with a report of a possible entrapment in the home.

The fire department says they were able to make it in the home quickly while knocking the fire down and did not find anyone inside.

They say the dogs were removed from the home and attended to by EMS personal.

The residents of the home were not home at the time of the fire and no injuries have been reported.

The Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating the cause of the fire.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
