Greater Good Charities, in partnership with animal health company Boehringer Ingelheim, celebrated the fourth anniversary of the “Save a Heart” campaign.
Four years after successfully transporting nearly 17,000 shelter pets to new homes, Great Good Charities did it again.
Of the 17,000 dogs transported, more than 1,500 of them were asymptomatic heartworm-positive dogs.
To celebrate the event, 75 shelter pets were flown from New Orleans to Morristown to find their forever homes on the East Coast.
News 12 New Jersey crews were there to greet them.
