7 dogs from upstate New York competing in this year’s Puppy Bowl

There are 21 dogs from New York competing in this year’s Puppy Bowl. Seven of them are from upstate.

Nickel City Canine Rescue joined Spectrum News 1 on Wednesday to introduce us to two of them — Shari and Millie.

In addition, Paws Allen, Lightning and Ivy are from Western New York, while Phoenix and Karen are from North Syracuse.

Which team will win the “Lombkarky” trophy this year? Puppy Bowl XXI takes place Sunday, Feb. 4 at 2 p.m.
