Crews responded to a house fire in the 800 block of Chris Court.
CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Six people and three dogs have been displaced after a fire Friday morning, the Chesapeake Fire Department said.
Crews responded to a house fire in the 800 block of Chris Court around 9:05 a.m. When firefighters arrived, they found smoke coming from a garage.
The fire was quickly extinguished and under control at 9:17 a.m.
No injuries were reported. Residents are taking care of their lodging.
Officials said the cause of the fire was accidental.
