5 dogs rescued from burning home in Concord, officials say

CONCORD, N.C. (WBTV) – Five dogs were saved from a burning home in Concord last week, according to officials.

The fire happened on Wednesday, Nov. 27, around 11 a.m. at a house along Wilmar Street near Concord Parkway North.

Officials said crews responded within three minutes of the report and found heavy smoke coming from the single-story residence when they arrived.

Firefighters controlled the fire in under 13 minutes and rescued five dogs from the home. Reports stated no humans were inside the building during the blaze and the pups were reunited with their owner.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Concord Fire Marshal’s Office.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
