4 dogs up for adoption after being abandoned on Kansas Turnpike

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Four dogs found abandoned at the service center on the Kansas Turnpike are up for adoption.

Two of the dogs were left in a cage by the dumpster and two were running loose, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.

Someone from out of state picked up the dogs and took them to an animal shelter, but the shelter was unable to take them.

The dogs are being cared for by jail staff and are up for adoption. Call the sheriff’s office at (620) 341-3205 if you’re interested in adopting any or all of the dogs.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
