4 dogs on SOS list at McMinn Regional Humane Society

The group said it must make space for scheduled intakes on Monday morning, leaving four dogs searching for a home as soon as possible.

MCMINN COUNTY, Tenn. — Despite the best efforts from staff and volunteers, four dogs have hours left to be adopted, According to the McMinn Regional Humane Society.

The group said it must make space for scheduled intakes on Monday morning, leaving four dogs searching for a home as soon as possible.

“Maggie, Dutton, Rip, and Zach are wonderful, highly adoptable dogs. They are in this situation through no fault of their own, and we are crossing our fingers that someone has a space in their heart and home for any one of them,” said Volunteer Coordinator Billie Hayman.

Staff and volunteers will be at the shelter from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday to help potential adopters meet the dogs. The humane society also said it is happy to schedule appointments outside of its open hours, with each dog’s adoption fees being waived.

Applications can be found on the group’s website, or more information can be found on its Facebook page.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
