4 dogs die in N.J. backyard blaze, police say

Four dogs perished after the shed they were living in caught fire Saturday in Egg Harbor Township, police said in a statement released on Monday. Two of the six dogs living in the shed survived the blaze, officials said.

The shed was reported burning at around 10:30 p.m. in the backyard of a home at Tremont and Bates avenues, officials said. It was “fully engulfed in flames” when officers and firefighters from Bargaintown and Cardiff arrived, police said.

The homeowner told police the shed was equipped as a shelter for six dogs with heat, water and food available, the statement said.

The cause of the fire is being investigated, officials said. The Egg Harbor Township Police Department Humane Law Enforcement Officers were notified of the incident and will be conducting a follow-up investigation.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
