34 dogs, including puppies, taken in within 2 days at Lynchburg Humane Society

Nearly three dozen dogs have been taken in at the Lynchburg Humane Society in just two days, including two litters of small puppies.

The humane society took to Facebook on Thursday, asking the community for donations to help support the influx of furry rescues.

According to LHS, 19 of the dogs came from one home: two mother dogs and their 17 puppies.

“These dogs came from rough conditions,” LHS said. “They have all received initial medical exams and are now being monitored closely and isolated to rule out any illnesses.”

All 34 dogs came in from just two homes, and many of them needed medical care after their exams.

“We continue to need the help of our community in this challenging time,” LHS said.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
