LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Fire & Rescue said three dogs and two snakes died in a northwest valley fire.
Firefighters said they responded to 2128 Shadow Mountain Place Friday morning around 9:12 a.m. It was a single-story house.
First crews arrived and saw the fire also hit three vehicles. A second alarm was called and crews began a defensive strategy.
Crews fought it for over forty minutes.
Three dogs and two snakes died. LVFR said the Red Cross was called to support two adults displaced. No injuries were reported.
Over sixty members reported to the incident to help extinguish the containment and fire. The cause is still under investigation. The home is deemed a total loss.
Crews cleared the scene around 5 p.m.
