3 dogs rescued after kitchen fire inside Kilgore home

KILGORE, Texas — Three dogs were rescued Wednesday morning while firefighters responded to a kitchen fire in Kilgore.

According to the Kilgore Fire Department, people weren’t at home at the time of the fire and it was contained to the kitchen and attic space above. The three dogs that were inside got out safely with one receiving oxygen. The fire happened at a home in the 1600 block of Amanda Lane.

The Gregg County Fire Marshal’s Office will oversee the investigation.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
