
More than two dozen dogs were seized from a Pennsylvania home during an investigation into dog fighting.Pennsylvania State Police say 28 dogs were taken from a home in the West Hazleton Borough of Luzerne County on March 6.While troopers were at the home, officials say they found numerous items related to animal fighting, as well as multiple indicators fighting took place.During their search, 19 dogs were discovered crated inside the home, while an additional eight were crated in a backyard shed.Another dog was captured running loose on the property.The dogs have been taken to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter with the help of the shelter and the Luzerne County Animal Response Team. They were then transported to the ASPCA. An investigation into the fighting ring and seizure is ongoing.
