PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – On Wednesday, a 20-year-old Pueblo man was arrested in connection of the sexual assault of at least three children and several dogs, according to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said Phoenix Moncivaiz-Likes is facing three counts of sexual exploitation of a child, three counts of sexual assault on a child and animal cruelty.
The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Internet Crimes Against Children detectives received a tip about Moncivaiz-Likes’s alleged connection to sexual abuse material. The sheriff’s office then conducted a year-long investigation.
At Moncivaiz-Likes’ home, deputies said they found digital evidence of child sexual abuse material, conversations of him assaulting two minors and bestiality.
Deputies said Moncivaiz-Likes reportedly admitted the sexual assaults on children and sexual acts with several dogs to detectives. Detectives then learned of a third child sex assault victim.
Moncivaiz-Likes was booked into the Pueblo County Jail.
