2 dogs were abandoned in Branford

BRANFORD, CT (WFSB) – Two dogs were found abandoned and overheated in Branford on Tuesday.

The Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter posted both dogs on their Facebook page.

The first dog was found on Hosley Ave. around 3 p.m. by a passerby stating that the dog was falling over and walking sideways in the middle of the road.

The dogs are believed to be around 14-15 years old.

The second dog was found around 10 p.m. on Hosley Ave. as well.

The shelter believes that the resident abandoned the dogs between noon and 3 p.m. during the height of the extreme heat.

Both dogs are receiving medical attention.

Anyone who witnessed anything related to the case should call 203-315-4125.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
