2 Dogs rescued in Cambridge structure fire

CAMBRIDGE, Ill. (KWQC) – Two dogs were safely rescued from a structure fire in Cambridge Wednesday morning.

Henry County Sheriff Chief Deputy Charles Franklin said a person heard a smoke alarm going off in the apartment and told the building owner, who contacted the Sheriff’s Office.

Officials from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the fire just before 10 a.m. near Prospect and Exchange streets in a Facebook post.

Franklin said there was only smoke damage and that, to his knowledge, no one was displaced.

No injuries have been reported and there was no significant property damage.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
