
Spike and Snickers never left each other’s side, officials said.
BLACK CANYON CITY, Ariz. — Two dogs were missing for four days in the desert before being rescued, according to Daisy Mountain Fire and Medical.
Spike and Snickers “never left each other’s side” and were spotted by a hiker about a mile and a half from the trailhead on the Black Canyon City Trail, officials said.
Spike, the yellow lab, was carried off the trail and Snickers was able to walk off the trail with their rescuers.
“Both puppies are safe and back home!” officials said.
