The department said their team on C-Shift quickly went to work putting out the fire and searching the home. The fire was marked under control at 8:05 a.m. Two dogs perished in the fire, and no additional injuries were reported.

The incident is being investigated by the Fire Marshal’s Office, the department said.

“This call required team effort including assistance from the Roanoke Police Department, AEP, and E-911 Dispatchers to navigate traffic and power line hazards,” the department said.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
