GRISWOLD, CT (WFSB) – Crews responded to a garage fire that spread to a home on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Taftville Fire Co. 2, crews were able to stop the spreading of the fire, but the garage was a total loss.
Officials said two adults and three dogs were displaced.
Griswold, Voluntown, Jewett City, and Taftville RIT all responded to the scene.
American Ambulance, Eversource, and American Red Cross also responded.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Griswold Fire Marshal.
