Why is salmonella dangerous for my pet?
Salmonella is not only dangerous for humans, but for a pet this virus can be deadly, starting to cause vomiting, diarrhea, fever and even in some cases of animals with previous illnesses, it can be lethal. But, not only this, but humans who touch these foods and do not wash their hands properly could also become contaminated and end up very sick. So, it is not worth taking any risk.
What do I do if I already have these products at home?
Don’t panic, the FDA has recommended stopping using these products immediately and disposing of them safely (wrap them in plastic so that they do not stick out or contaminate anything). Also, both companies have proposed a refund that you will get by sending the purchase receipt.
