19 dogs rescued from Long Beach home, man arrested for dog fighting paraphernalia

LONG BEACH, Miss. (WLOX) – The Long Beach Police Department arrested Noah Bridges on March 31 and charged him with one count of possession of dog fighting paraphernalia.

Officers responded to a home on West Old Pass Road after receiving calls about dogs barking and too many dogs at a residence.

Officers served a search warrant and say they found several items related to dog fighting.

Several dogs on the scene had scars and open wounds.

The Long Beach Police Department and the South Mississippi Humane Society are in the process of rescuing 19 dogs from the home.

Bridges, 36, was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. A judge set his bond at $15,000.
