15 starving dogs rescued from a property in Polk County

The Humane Society of Missouri (HSMO) rescued 15 dogs from a property in Polk County on Nov. 19.

A concerned citizen reported to the Polk County Sheriff’s Department that several animals were living in unsafe conditions on the property.

The press release reported that 15 of the dogs were recovered, as well as the bodies of two others, under a warrant.

HSMO noted that with forecasted freezing temperatures on the way, they understood how critical it was to get the dogs to safety when they did.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
