13 cats, 2 dogs killed in Wolfforth structure fire

WOLFFORTH, Texas (KCBD) – 13 cats and two dogs did not survive after a structure fire in Wolfforth early Wednesday morning.

Just before 8:30 a.m., Wolfforth Fire and EMS responded to a residential structure fire near 3rd Street and Delta Ave.

Units arrived to heavy smoke coming from a small residence. Inside the home, smoke from the fire caused zero visibility. During search operations however, firefighters rescued the animals from inside.

Despite their efforts, the animals did not survive due to smoke inhalation.

Crews remains on scene working to fully extinguish hot spots.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
